7.6/10

The hotel offers a great choice for dinner with generous portions suitable for a family of four and a large dog, but the pre-prepared feel was disappointing. The rooms were too warm and lacked individual preparation, giving off a mass-tour feel.

Rooms
6.0
The rooms were too warm and felt pre-prepared like we were part of a coach party, which was disappointing.
Service
9.0
The staff were incredibly hardworking, friendly, and chatty, with some taking on multiple roles during an employment crisis.
Location
8.0
The hotel offers a lovely woodland walk and picturesque sea views from some rooms, creating a great atmosphere for a relaxing stay.
Dining
8.0
The dinner was excellent, plentiful, and perfectly located for our needs, although some dishes seemed pre-made. The homemade ice cream was a highlight.
Facilities
7.0
The hotel provides extensive woodland trails for kids, and the center of Grange is easily accessible.

The hotel has a beautiful room, but it is let down by old furniture and a stuffy, smelly ambiance. The staff seemed preoccupied with their own breakfast rather than catering to guests. However, the location is great for exploring the lakes over a weekend, though some areas show signs of wear and tear.

5.0/10

I was excited to stay at this hotel due to its stunning panoramic sea view but ended up disappointed with the dark room and lack of light coming through. The size was adequate for a family of four, but the outdated decor and small TV were noticeable drawbacks. On the upside, the central heating kept us warm throughout, although we couldn't control the temperature ourselves.

Rooms
5.0
The room was not up to a good standard with poor decoration and a tiny bathroom, but it was spacious enough for a family of four with a beautiful sea view.
Service
5.0
The service at the reception was helpful, although a bit lacking in friendliness and warmth. The staff seemed bossy and never greeted us with a smile or a 'thank you. '
Location
7.0
The location was good, offering a nice view of the sea from the room. It was situated between Morecambe Bay and the hills in Cumbria UK, providing a picturesque setting.
Dining
6.0
The dining experience was okay with a decent selection of cooked, cereal, and fruit options. However, the food was not served hot, just warm.
Facilities
5.0
The hotel lacked modern amenities and presentation details, making the overall experience less enjoyable.
